Prof. Martin Raubal, Cluster Leader and Principal Investigator in the Future Resilient Systems (FRS) programme spoke at the Urban Sustainability R&D e-Symposia - Analytics and the City webinar on 19 November 2021. 'Analytics and the City: Data Analytics, Modelling and Simulation for Urban Planning and Design' focussed on how urban planning and design decisions can be improved using data analytics, modelling and simulation.

Prof. Raubal is the Cluster Leader of Distributed Cognition for Social Resilience at FRS, and the Principal Investigator for the Spatiotemporal Analysis for Weak Signals Detection module. He spoke alongside other experts on public health, geographic information science and ecosystem services to discuss advancements in data analytics, modelling and simulation. The other speakers at the webinar were:
