SEC invites you to join Future Resilient Systems (FRS) researchers and the ETH Risk Centre for a a roundtable discussion exploring the critical intersections of risk and resilience in today’s complex landscape.
As we navigate an era marked by increasingly interdependent risks that can lead to polycrises, understanding, buillding and managing resilience is essential. This event will delve into how robust resilience management, in addition to risk management, can empower organizations—across physical, environmental, and human systems—to better anticipate, respond to, and recover from disruptions.
We will bring together thought leaders from academia, the private sector, and public institutions to share their latest insights on the vital connections between risk and resilience. Our discussions will highlight the significant role of the re/insurance sector in fortifying infrastructure and societies against future crises.
The event includes inputs from experts, including Prof. Giovanni Sansavini (Chair of Reliability and Risk Engineering group, ETH Zurich; Chairperson of the ETH Risk Center; and Co-Principal Investigator in FRS) and Dr Jonas Joerin (Director of FRS), followed by a panel discussion and networking opportunities.
