Dr Ramirez Marquez is co-investigator of Resilience-Driven Design of Cyber-Physical Systems at Future Resilient Systems and associate professor and director of Enterprise Science and Engineering at the Stevens Institute of Technology. His work explores the interplay between communities and infrastructure as the basis of understanding socio-technical resilience. This knowledge will then allow communities to better plan and improve decision making when disruption strikes.
