Dr Hamed HAFEZNIA
Hamed is a Postdoctoral Researcher in the System-of-Systems Resilience Module of the Future Resilient Systems (FRS) programme at the Singapore-ETH Centre (SEC). As a postdoctoral researcher, he is developing a Machine Learning (ML)-based decision support system for policymaking and planning to improve the resilience of urban infrastructure networks for case studies in Singapore and the USA.
Furthermore, he is leading the project titled “Minimizing Heat Stress for Elderly Residents after Disruption in Urban Infrastructure Networks.” This urban infrastructure and climate resilience project is a joint research collaboration between researchers from ETH Zurich, Switzerland, the National University of Singapore (NUS), and Nanyang Technological University (NTU Singapore). The case study for this research project is Queenstown, a neighborhood in Singapore.
