Dr Lijuan SHEN

Senior Researcher and Cluster Coordinator


Lijuan is currently a senior researcher and cluster coordinator of Cyber-Physical Systems Resilience Cluster in the Future Resilient Systems Programme at the Singapore-ETH Centre. She has been a lead principal investigator of the Intra-CREATE Seed Collaboration project ‘Resilience Analysis on Hydrogen as a Low-Emission Fuel’ funded by the National Research Foundation of Singapore between 2021 and 2022.

Additionally, Lijuan has served as a Guest Editor for the Quality and Reliability Engineering International Journal from 2021 to 2023. She has published in peer-reviewed journals including Reliability Engineering & System Safety, IEEE Transactions on Reliability, Journal of Quality Technology, IIE Transactions, Quality and Reliability Engineering International, etc. She received her Ph.D. degree in Systems Engineering from Beihang University, Beijing.

Research Interests

Lijuan’s research interests include resilience analysis and assessment of infrastructure systems, reliability modeling, statistical modelling, machine learning and data analytics.
